Guidelines & processes
Our goal is to have representation from as many colleges and universities across the state as possible.
General Eligibility Information
- All participants must be undergraduate students in good standing and enrolled at your institution for the spring 2026 semester.
- Participants must be a member of a university orchestra or concert band (if the offering exists).
- All participants must attend an institution that awards at least an associate’s degree or music minor.
- It is highly recommended that all participating students be currently enrolled in the applied music studios of your college or university (if the offering exists).
- Participants must be in attendance at the 2026 MMEA Annual In-Service Workshop/Conference beginning the evening of Monday, January 26 through the performance on the evening of Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
