WHO: OPEN TO ALL TYPES OF VOCALISTS AND INSTRUMENTALISTS ACROSS MISSOURI IN GRADES 9-12 WHO WOULD LIKE TO COLLABORATE WITH OTHERS. THE INSTRUMENTATION WILL VARY BASED ON AUDITIONS AND MEMBERSHIP WILL BE LIMITED TO 9-15 STUDENTS.
WHAT: SPEND 3 DAYS WORKING WITH AN INDUSTRY CLINICIAN AND OTHER HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS TO CREATE A CONCERT OF ORIGINAL SONGS. REHEARSALS WILL TAKE PLACE MONDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. THE ORIGINAL MATERIAL WILL BE PERFORMED WEDNESDAY, JAN 25 AT THE FIRST GENRAL SESSION OF THE MMEA STATE CONFERENCE.

HOW: AUDITION APPLICATION WINDOW OPEN OCT. 10-NOV. 10, 2022.

DETAILS: THE GOAL OF THE COLLECTIVE IS TO BRING TOGETHER YOUNG MUSICIANS TO WORK COLLABORATIVELY TO CREATE ORIGINAL MUSIC. THE INSTRUMENTATION OF THE GROUP IS FLEXIBLE AND OPEN TO EVERYONE.
THE $140 PARTICIPATION FEE COVERS ROOM, CLINICIAN AND T-SHIRT. MEALS WILL BE THE RESPONSBILITY OF THE PARTICIPANTS. PARTICIPANTS WILL BE RESPONSBILE FOR TRANSPORATION TO AND FROM OSAGE BEACH.
STUDENT WILL BE STAYING IN ROOMS WITH 2-3 OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COLLECTIVE.
