Like all cultures, Jewish music covers a wide spectrum of themes, occasions, and genres. In this session, we will explore Jewish and Hebrew choral repertoire and discuss how to appropriately and effectively incorporate it into a curriculum and concert program. Participants will learn when to program Jewish music, how to choose appropriate literature for different occasions, and how to teach pieces of Jewish culture and tradition in ways that are approachable and relevant to students from all backgrounds. |

This session will present a shareable and collaborative, annotated collection of over 200 and growing tried and true pieces of TB literature for beginning, intermediate and advanced ensembles. |
